Description

The Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) is offering the Leading by Example (LBE) Restoration Grant Program for Solar PV and Decarbonized Systems. This program supports projects that increase active solar PV capacity at state facilities by repairing or replacing components of existing state-owned solar installations. It also supports projects related to existing decarbonized system repairs and replacements to help state facilities avoid the use of backup fossil fuel systems and reduce or eliminate onsite emissions from state government operations. An amount not to exceed $5,000,000 in grant funding is available through this program. Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis until the deadline of June 30, 2027, or until all funds have been exhausted.
