Rankin County Gravel Supply

Rankin County, Mississippi is soliciting sealed bids for the supply and hauling of wash gravel and clay gravel. The contract period is from July 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, with an additional six-month option period at the discretion of both parties. Bids will be accepted for wash gravel to be delivered to the Brandon Unit Shop or job sites, with pricing per ton and per ton-mile for hauling. Alternatively, bids can be for FOB (loaded at supplier's site on county-furnished trucks). Wash gravel must be hard, durable, clean, and free of deleterious matter. Bids will also be accepted for clay gravel, specified as Granular Material, Class 5 or 6, Group C or D as per the MISSISSIPPI STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR STATE AID ROAD AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION, 2004 Edition. This will be on an FOB basis, loaded at the supplier's site onto county-furnished trucks.
