The California Department of Public Health is seeking a staffing agency to provide ten full-time equivalent Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) for its Laboratory Field Sciences (LFS) branch. The contract period is anticipated to be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029. The CLS professionals must hold a California CLS license in clinical chemistry and possess at least three years of relevant experience, including field consultation, supervision, or specialist work in clinical/public health laboratory sciences. Their role is critical for regulatory compliance, quality testing, and public health laboratory inspections, as mandated by California law and federal CLIA regulations. The Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) incentive still applies, though the mandatory 3% DVBE requirement has been waived.
