The 183d Wing, Illinois Air National Guard (ANG), is soliciting bids for a firm-fixed-price contract to provide services for the repair and installation of a base fire alarm system in Springfield, IL. This project aims to establish a centralized base-wide fire alarm control system compliant with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-600-1 and ANG Engineering Technical Letter (ETL) 15-01-03 standards. The scope includes providing all necessary materials, tools, equipment, and labor for the system installation and modifications to existing fire alarm panels across all 183d Wing locations. The new system will integrate with the Mass Notification Warning System (MNWS) to ensure redundancy in case of primary system failure, meeting current codes and Department of the Air Force Instruction (DAFI) requirements. The contract duration is 180 days after the notice to proceed. This project is set aside 100% for Small Business, with a NAICS Code of 238990 and a size standard of $19,000,000. The estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled for early-mid May 2026, with a tentative pre-bid conference in mid-May 2026.
