Social Security Administration Headquarters Building Alterations and Repairs

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to solicit bids for alterations and repairs to its headquarters buildings located in Baltimore and Frederick County, Maryland. The affected facilities include the Perimeter East Building, Supply Building, SSA Main Complex, Child Care Center (all at 6201-6401 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21235), and the National Support Center (8999 Bennett Creek Boulevard, Urbana, MD 21704). This solicitation will be entirely set aside for small businesses. Responsible small business sources are invited to submit proposals. SSA anticipates awarding multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, with Firm Fixed Price task orders to be issued as needed. IDIQ contract holders will have a fair opportunity to be considered for task order work. The anticipated period of performance for the IDIQ contracts is a 12-month base period with four subsequent 12-month option periods. The solicitation is expected to be released around May 29, 2026, with proposals due approximately 30 days thereafter.
