The City of Dayton is soliciting bids for a Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). This solicitation aims to establish a firm price agreement for the vehicle, with pricing valid from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The agreement includes one option to renew for an additional 12-month period at the City's discretion, with potential for a price adjustment not exceeding two percent, subject to documentation. Bidders must be dealers located within the State of Ohio and must be direct employees of the dealership. The vehicles must be new, unused, and current model year production units, complying with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Delivery for "on-the-lot" vehicles is required within 90 calendar days of order receipt, while order bank units must be delivered within 120-150 calendar days. All bids must include shipping costs to the point of delivery. The City of Dayton is exempt from federal excise taxes and state retail sales taxes.
