Elevator Modernization Project at Pawnee Indian Health Center

This is a Sources Sought notice for an elevator modernization project at the Pawnee Indian Health Center in Pawnee, Oklahoma. The Indian Health Service (IHS) is looking to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) capable of performing the work, which includes replacing the elevator control system with newer technology. The objective is to increase durability and reliability, improve fire and life safety features, decrease operation and waiting times, and reduce energy consumption and operational costs. The scope of work involves upgrading, modernizing, replacing, or retrofitting all elevator components. This includes the controller, jack, power unit, car, hoistway, pit, door equipment, car fixtures, and hall fixtures. The project also requires remodeling the interior of the elevator cabin and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations, including ASME A17.1/CSA B44 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ADA, NFPA, and NEC. Work is to be performed by certified elevator technicians and electricians, and will be scheduled over weekends or holidays to minimize downtime.
