Description

Multnomah County, through its Department of County Human Services (DCHS) and Preschool for All (PFA) initiative, is seeking qualified suppliers to provide equity training and curriculum development. The goal is to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of providers and direct support staff within the PFA program. This initiative aims to create free, inclusive, and culturally responsive preschool environments for 3- and 4-year-olds in Multnomah County, focusing on dismantling bias and achieving equitable outcomes for children, particularly those from marginalized groups. The scope of services includes both training facilitation and curriculum development. Suppliers are expected to have demonstrated expertise in areas such as equity, cultural responsiveness, anti-bias practices, and trauma-informed approaches. Training should be adaptable to diverse adult learners across various settings, including in-home family child care, centers, and schools. Curriculum development will focus on creating a robust, evidence-based framework aligned with PFA's mission and Oregon's Early Learning and Kindergarten Guidelines.
