Mentor Municipal Maintenance HVAC Replacement - Rebid

The City of Mentor is soliciting sealed proposals for the replacement of HVAC systems in their municipal maintenance building. The project involves replacing all Variable Volume-Temperature (VVT) terminal boxes with new units, removing existing control wiring, and installing new temperature control wiring to all new terminal boxes. All rooftop units will be connected to a Trane Symbio system, and all terminal units will feature control boards with BACnet communication, leaving air temperature sensors, airflow sensors, and digital thermostats. Pneumatic controls and piping will remain in the system, but all pneumatic controls and piping will be cut and capped. The scope of work also includes the installation of new HVAC insulation and adherence to specific project requirements, including working hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM unless otherwise approved, and a project completion date of September 1, 2026. Bidders are responsible for checking for addenda, and bids must be submitted in accordance with the provided specifications and forms.
