Description

The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA) is requesting proposals from developers for the creation and/or preservation of affordable rental housing units through its Rental Gap Program (RGP). The RGP aims to increase the supply of decent affordable housing and address property maintenance deficiencies by providing loans to developers. Priority will be given to projects that bring new affordable units to market quickly, are shovel-ready, or provide social services to residents. Eligible borrowers must be development teams with demonstrated experience and meet specific financial and legal requirements. The program funds can be used for hard and soft costs associated with rehabilitation and new construction, as well as for supportive services.
