McElrath Road Improvements

The City of Greer is soliciting bids for the McElrath Road Improvements project. This project involves improving and slightly widening approximately 1771 linear feet of McElrath Road using a Full Depth Reclamation process. The scope of work includes establishing new ditch lines, modifying existing driveways, installing new driveway culverts, and repaving and striping the road upon completion. Attention will be given to two existing trees, with one requiring trimming and the other being assessed by an arborist to minimize damage. The project must be completed by October 31, 2026. Contractors must possess an Asphalt Paving (Ap 4 or 5) or Highway (HY 4 or 5) classification/license through SC LLR and have a minimum of five years of experience in similar projects.
