Description
The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) is monitoring hardwood trees in western Maryland. This monitoring is in response to an early spring frost that damaged emerging leaves in Allegany County, as well as outbreaks of defoliating caterpillars in Allegany, Garrett, and Washington Counties.
