Whitewater Canyon Timber Harvest

This solicitation is for a clearcut timber harvest of approximately 19.0 acres located in Whitewater Canyon WMA, within Dubuque County, Iowa. The timber sale will be conducted on a lump-sum, sealed bid basis. Bidders are responsible for examining the timber to determine quantity and quality. Logging operations require the ground to be completely frozen and firm, and are permitted only between September 1st, 2026, and March 31st, 2027. The successful bidder must execute a timber sale contract within 14 days of award and provide proof of sufficient liability coverage. A down payment of 25% of the bid price is required, with the remainder due before logging begins. The seller reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
