Maintenance of County Street and Navigation Lights

This solicitation is for the preventive and response maintenance of street and navigation lights throughout Escambia County. The scope of work includes bi-monthly inspections for streetlights on Bob Sikes Bridge and monthly inspections for navigation lights on the same bridge. All other street light maintenance and repairs will be handled on a service call basis. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all transportation, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the work. This includes providing 24-hour service for repairs, maintaining a qualified and trained workforce supervised by a licensed electrician, and keeping an adequate stock of spare parts. The contractor must also comply with FDOT standards for worksite safety and traffic maintenance. Escambia County recognizes the importance of a reliable lighting infrastructure for public safety and community security.
