Description

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Division of Applied Regulatory Science (DARS) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide deliveries. These gases are critical for DARS laboratories, which conduct mission-critical research. Liquid nitrogen is required for storing biological samples, and carbon dioxide is needed for laboratory equipment such as cell culture incubators. The contractor shall provide all necessary liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide, including delivery and connection to existing dewars. Deliveries will be on an as-needed basis, coordinated at least two business days in advance, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding Federal holidays. Tanks must be equipped with a functional digital gauge, filled to at least 90% capacity, and be free from damage or leaks. The contractor will also be responsible for retrieving empty cylinders upon delivery. The place of performance is FOB Point Destination at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Building WO-64, Second floor, service corridor, 10903 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20993.
