The State of Georgia, through its Department of Parks & Recreation, is initiating a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process for a comprehensive greens renovation project at Chastain Park Golf Course. This project involves excavation, drainage installation, grading, and resodding to restore playability and ensure proper surface drainage. The successful contractor will be responsible for rehabilitating all greens to meet industry standards for performance, durability, and drainage. Vendors must possess a minimum of three completed golf course greens renovation projects of similar size and complexity within the last five years. Essential experience includes subsurface drainage system installation, precision grading for optimal drainage, and the installation and establishment of golf course turfgrass systems, specifically hybrid bermudagrass varieties like TifEagle. The contractor must also be properly licensed, bonded, and insured to perform construction in Georgia and demonstrate the personnel, equipment, and capacity for large-scale reconstruction projects while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards.
