Description

This solicitation is for the complete replacement of the existing R22 split HVAC system in Building 4983 at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland, Texas. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to remove the old system and install a new, code-compliant HVAC system. The new system must meet current Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), ASHRAE, NFPA, ICC, OSHA, and Air Force standards, and will include modern Direct Digital Controls (DDC) with BACnet compatibility. The project scope includes removal of the existing Rheem condenser and RUUD air handler, associated wiring, and any incompatible ductwork. The new installation will involve refrigerant-based HVAC equipment, electrical components, piping, insulation, DDC controls, and full system commissioning. Deliverables include as-built drawings, submittals, O&M manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, and warranty documentation. The performance period for this contract is 45 days after award.
