This Sources Sought Notice is for information purposes only, to assist the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in planning for a firm-fixed-price contract to remodel the Dietetics Kitchen on the first floor of building 1, at the Phoenix Arizona Veteran Administration Healthcare System (PVAHCS) campus. The project will be completed in one phase and includes a leased temporary mobile kitchen structure, managed by the contractor, with food services, production equipment, and administrative workspaces. This temporary kitchen will enable continued food production for approximately 900 meals per day and will be connected to existing utility infrastructure. The remodeled kitchen will be a turn-key project, including new construction for office spaces, walls, ceilings, flooring, and utilities in cooking and refrigeration areas, addressing infrastructure deficiencies, pest infestation, and improving workplace safety over an 11,500 square feet area. Construction activities must allow for continued food production operations. The government is seeking to identify qualified sources for this project, which falls under NAICS code 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $45,000,000.00. The estimated construction price range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000, with an anticipated total contract performance period of 24 months. The solicitation will adhere to RFO 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, for small business prime contractors.
