Description

The U.S. Department of State, through its Embassy in Doha, is soliciting proposals for a program to foster concrete U.S. economic, technological, and security interests in Qatar. This initiative aims to position U.S. firms and technologies as Qatar's preferred partners, demonstrate how American innovation drives progress, strengthen U.S.-Qatar security cooperation, and leverage the Freedom 250 commemoration to showcase American excellence in ways that support strategic objectives. Eligible applicants include not-for-profit and community service organizations, individuals, and educational institutions registered in Qatar or the U.S. (with local affiliates), as well as Qatari government institutions. For-profit entities are not eligible. Projects must align with one or more of four themes: Strategic Economic and Technology Partnership, Open Information, Free Inquiry, and Innovation, Sovereignty, Security, and the U.S. as High-Trust Partner, or American Heritage, Excellence, and Freedom 250. The overarching goal is to enhance U.S. national interests and deepen U.S.-Qatar cooperation.
