Rock Salt and Transportation Services

The City of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is soliciting bids for the provision and transportation of rock salt. Vendors are required to register and submit their bids electronically through the city's e-procurement portal at siouxfalls.bonfirehub.com. Bids must be received by the e-procurement portal no later than May 28, 2026, at 2 p.m. Central time. A public bid opening will follow at 3 p.m. Central time at City Hall, 224 W. 9th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104. Virtual attendance for the bid opening is available via Webex through links found at www.siouxfalls.gov/purchasing. Vendors are responsible for monitoring the e-procurement portal for any addenda or updates to the solicitation. Telegraphic, fax, email, and hand-delivered responses will not be accepted unless specifically authorized. The City of Sioux Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
