Water Meters for City of Independence

The City of Independence, Missouri is seeking proposals for the provision and delivery of water meters. The scope of this RFP includes replacing existing water meters, ranging in size from 5/8" to 8", with electronic, solid-state, battery-operated meters. These meters must be compatible with multiple Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) providers and platforms, including point-to-point, mesh, or cellular networks. The City anticipates replacing approximately 3,000 meters annually over a three-year agreement. Vendors are required to submit pricing for each meter size, along with delivery lead times and warranty information.
