2026 or Newer One-Half Ton Extended Cab Pickup Truck

Calcasieu Parish Police Jury is seeking bids for one (1) 2026 or newer one-half ton extended cab pickup truck for use by the Division of Engineering & Public Works. The truck must be red non-metallic with a clear coat, have a V-8 5.0L minimum gasoline flex-fuel engine with EFI, a 10-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, a factory-installed towing package, and a 6,900-pound GVWR minimum. It should feature a standard 6-foot bed with a spray-in bedliner, 17-inch tires with a full-size spare, and power 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS. The interior should include a color-coded interior, black rubber floor mats, tinted glass, and vinyl front bench seating. Safety features required include Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Blind Spot Detection. The vehicle must come with a full tank of fuel and all necessary tools for tire changes. Standard manufacturer warranties apply, with all warranty work to be performed by an authorized dealer within Calcasieu Parish.
