Low-Income Solar Array Project Construction

The City of Forest Grove is soliciting bids for a solar array project, estimated to cost between $150,000 and $250,000. This project involves completing the final design, procuring materials compliant with the Buy America, Build America (BABA) requirements, and constructing the solar array on city-owned land adjacent to the Forest Grove Substation at 2301 Maple Street. All wages will adhere to the Davis-Bacon Act, utilizing the LCP Tracker certified payroll system. The project is funded by a Federal HUD grant and must comply with all federal guidelines. The energy produced by the solar array will be monetized by the City of Forest Grove Light & Power, with the revenue used to assist low-income energy customers within the service area. The City reserves the right to negotiate the final contract.
