Mesa Unified School District is soliciting proposals for temporary HVAC technician services to supplement their in-house staff for repairs and maintenance at various educational and administrative facilities. The contract is for a limited term, with an estimated annual cost of $60,000, and will not be renewed. Services are needed on an hourly basis as determined by the District's needs, with a specific anticipated need for one Technician Level II for 40 hours per week from July 13th to October 9th, 2026. Vendors must have at least five years of experience in the commercial HVAC business in Arizona, and Technician Level II candidates must possess a minimum of fifteen years of experience with commercial HVAC equipment, including specific knowledge of Direct Expansion Multi-Zone Units, Variable Air Volume Units, Chiller Plants, and Energy Management Control systems. The contractor is responsible for providing a qualified technician, a service truck with ladders, and all necessary HVAC service tools. The District will provide all parts, supplies, and refrigerant.
