Terminal Railway Operations Training Center Expansion

The Alabama Port Authority (APA) is soliciting bids for the renovation and expansion of its Terminal Railway Operations Building located in Mobile, Alabama. The project involves providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the renovation of approximately 1,500 square feet of office space within the existing building. The scope of work includes site improvements, furnishing and installing a building enclosure with structural steel, a concrete floor slab, electrical service, and new office finishes. The project also involves extensive concrete work, including formwork, cast-in-place concrete for slabs and foundations, and reinforcing steel installation, all in accordance with ACI and ASTM standards. Structural metal fabrication and erection, as well as miscellaneous metal components, will also be a significant part of the project, adhering to AISC and AWS specifications. The project requires a metal building system, with specific design and erection requirements outlined.
