Shop Supplies, Equipment, and Hardware Pre-qualification
District School Board of Niagara
The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) is seeking to pre-qualify multiple suppliers for the provision of shop supplies, equipment, and hardware. This pre-qualification is for an initial term of one year, commencing approximately February 1, 2022, with consideration for four additional one-year renewal periods, extending through December 31, 2027. The objective is to establish a list of suppliers for low-dollar value and repetitive purchases with minimal administrative expense. Items that may be required include, but are not limited to, automotive supplies, equipment, tools, and hardware; construction, shop, and woodworking supplies, equipment, tools, and hardware; hardware; workwear and safety gear; electrical and plumbing supplies; hand and power tools; machinery; raw materials such as lumber and metal; welding supplies, equipment, tools, and hardware; installation services; training services; and post-warranty repair services. The DSBN reserves the right to obtain quotes from multiple pre-qualified suppliers at their discretion. Orders may be picked up at a supplier's storefront near the Niagara Region or ordered via purchase or blanket contract order. Individual schools will make purchases based on "best fit." For installation and repair services, the supplier's storefront must be located within the Niagara Region. The DSBN serves 12 municipalities in the Niagara Region, encompassing 79 elementary and 20 secondary schools.
