Road Salt and Ice Melt Supply

The State of Delaware is soliciting proposals for the supply of bulk rock salt, solar salt, and bagged or containerized ice melt. This contract will be accessible to all State Agencies, School Districts, Political Subdivisions, Municipalities, Volunteer Fire Companies, and higher education entities receiving state funds, as well as other entities identified by Del. Code, Chapter 69, Title 29 SS 6910. The scope of work includes the delivery and potential pick-up of rock salt and solar salt, and the bulk delivery of ice melt. The contract will be for an initial two-year period, with four one-year renewal options. The State reserves the right to award to multiple vendors.
