The County of Calaveras, Health and Human Services Agency, Social Services Division is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified organizations to provide mental health therapy, family counseling, supervised visitation, and related supportive services. These services are intended for children, families, and adults involved in the County's Child Welfare Services (CWS) program. The County anticipates entering into Professional Services Agreements for a three-year period from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, subject to funding availability and Board of Supervisors approval. Award will be made to the proposer offering the best value, with technical merit weighted more heavily than cost. Services are divided into categories: PCIT & PC-CARE Family Counseling, Therapeutic Visitation Services, Adult Therapy - Child Welfare, and General Counseling Services (LCSW/LMFT). All services must comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, and contractors are expected to bill Medi-Cal directly for covered services where applicable. Contractors must maintain all required professional licenses and certifications throughout the contract term and comply with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
