69kV Transformers

The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is seeking to procure three identical stock power transformers with specifications including 15/20/25/28 MVA capacity, 69/13.2 kV voltage, and ONAN/ONAF/ONAF cooling with load tap changing (LTC) capabilities. The transformers will be delivered to GRDA's Transmission & Engineering Headquarters in Pryor, Oklahoma. Bids are now due by May 14, 2026, with questions due by May 12, 2026. The award will be based on best value, considering price, delivery, adherence to specifications, and the ability to meet project needs. GRDA reserves the right to purchase zero, one, two, or three transformers, or make no award at all. Detailed technical specifications cover various aspects of the transformers, including construction, cooling equipment, oil, painting, load tap changing equipment, control cabinets, current transformers, surge arresters, and accessories. The manufacturer must have at least 10 years of experience in constructing substation transformers and meet stringent quality control and testing requirements.
