Description

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is seeking qualified vendors to establish a three-year Agency Price Agreement (APA) for training services. This agreement will cover the design, delivery, and evaluation of a wide range of training programs aimed at enhancing the professional, technical, and safety development of RIDOT employees, as well as members of the Rhode Island municipal and tribal transportation workforce. The selected vendors will be responsible for developing and delivering interactive, outcome-focused training using adult learning principles, tailored to the agency's operational goals. Services will include curriculum design, instructor-led facilitation (both in-person and virtual), and evaluation of learning outcomes. Training topics may span areas such as leadership, communication, teamwork, time management, ethical behavior, professional and technical competencies, as well as transportation-specific subjects like safety training, project planning, CDL preparation, and construction math. Vendors are required to supply all training materials, coordinate scheduling, and provide attendance and evaluation reports. Experience in public sector training, adult education, and customized curriculum development is a requirement.
