MD99 Divergence Rocket Motor

This is a presolicitation notice for MD99 Divergence Rocket Motors, NSN: 1377-01-053-0587 or 1377-01-630-5139. The quantity required is 370 Each. Delivery terms are FOB Destination for LAT and CDRLS, and FOB Origin for deliverable items, with the delivery schedule to be determined in the solicitation. This acquisition involves explosive ordnance items, requiring a pre-award safety survey and adherence to DFARS 252.223-7002, Safety Precautions for Ammunition and Explosives. Special security, safety, and transportation clauses will be included in Section I of the RFP. Procurement is restricted to Rockwell Collins, Inc. and NAMMO Defense Systems, Inc. A limited drawing package is available, but paper copies will not be provided. Drawings are NOT available on CD. Items are explosive, and a Safety Survey will be required. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only two sources under FAR 6.302, but all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and offer. Technical data will be available on SAM.gov. The government is not using commercial item acquisition policies for this solicitation.
