The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) is issuing this pre-qualification solicitation for suppliers of window coverings and repair services for its facilities. The initial contract period is three years, beginning December 1, 2023, and ending November 30, 2026, with options for three additional one-year renewals, extending the potential contract term to November 30, 2029. Multiple suppliers will be pre-qualified, and submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the contract duration. The scope of work includes the supply and installation of new window coverings, hardware, and associated preparation, such as surface preparation and removal of existing coverings. Suppliers will also be responsible for repairs, with an expectation of responding to general requests within 24 hours and completing service requests within 30 calendar days. All work must be performed by experienced personnel according to manufacturer recommendations and relevant industry standards, including Canadian Standards Association (CSA), Canadian Government Specification Board (CSGA), Ontario Fire Code, and NFPA 701 testing. Materials must be of first quality, and a one-year warranty on product and installation is required.
