Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 1 intends to issue a competitive small business set-aside solicitation to provide Emergency and Rapid Response Services (ERRS) for time-critical removals and rapid remedial actions with respect to the release or threat of release of oil, hazardous and toxic wastes, petroleum products, hazardous substances, or pollutants, contaminants or fire or explosion hazards, that pose an actual or potential threat to human health or welfare, or the environment. This procurement will also include the cleanup for incidents involving weapons of mass destruction; acts of terrorism; nuclear, biological and chemical incidents; and natural or man-made disasters. These services are to be provided within the EPA Region 1 geographic area, which includes the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, and 10 Tribal Nations. The government intends to award one performance-based indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) type contract for a maximum period of performance of sixty (60) months.
