Construction Observation Services for Fiber Optic Installation

The City of Wheaton is soliciting professional engineering services to provide temporary support for monitoring and enforcing construction activities related to fiber duct installation throughout the city. This service will also address resident concerns during the installation process. The contract term is for one year with two one-year renewal options. Vendors must be located within 50 miles of Wheaton and have prior experience serving at least three municipalities in the last five years. Field inspectors or resident engineers are estimated to work approximately 20 hours per week between May and December 2026.
