Volk Field Billeting Blind Replacement

This solicitation seeks a contractor to perform a full-depth replacement of all blinds and cellular shades in Volk Field billeting facilities. The project aims to improve privacy, energy efficiency, and light and glare control. Work includes the complete removal and disposal of existing window treatments and hardware, followed by the installation of new aluminum blinds and cellular shades. Specific requirements vary by building: buildings other than 449 and 475 will receive 1-inch bright white aluminum blinds with cordless lift and wand tilt mechanisms. Buildings 449 and 475 will receive blue-grey and natural tan cellular shades with cordless operating systems. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment, including delivery and disposal. Any damage caused during the work must be repaired to its original condition. Pricing is to be submitted for seven project areas, which will be awarded based on funding availability. The estimated project duration is approximately 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
