Asphalt Crushing Services
City of St. Paul
The City of Fairbanks is requesting bids for asphalt crushing services to process an estimated 4,058 cubic yards of existing stockpiled asphalt material. The goal is to convert this material into Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP), suitable for reuse in roadway maintenance and other municipal operations. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, supervision, equipment, fuel, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the work. This includes mobilization and demobilization, crushing the material to a three-quarter inch (3/4") minus size, loading, handling, stockpiling the finished RAP, dust control, and site cleanup. All crushing operations are to occur on-site at the City of Fairbanks Public Works Facility, located at 2121 Peger Road, unless otherwise approved in writing by the City. The contractor must also coordinate all site access and stockpile placement with Public Works staff.
