Description

This solicitation is for NSN 1H-8010-015652623-ST, a surface sealer, requiring 9600 units. The product requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain quality. The acquisition is from approved sources due to existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing/repair knowledge that are not economically available to the government. Alternate sources must qualify according to the design control activity's procedures, approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Award will be made only if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The government is not using FAR Part 12 for this solicitation, but interested parties may identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. A DD254 applies to this requirement, and offerors must have a valid U.S. security clearance of classified or higher. Government source inspection is required.
