The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), James River Reserve Fleet (JRRF), requires dry docking and repair services for the PF205 Patrol Boat. The work is to be performed at a contractor's facility located in the Hampton Roads area, which includes the James River, all branches of the Elizabeth River, York River, Mobjack Bay, and their tributaries. The period of performance for the dry-docking is 60 days upon delivery of the vessel. Services include, but are not limited to, dry docking, hull cleaning and painting, ultrasonic testing, plate renewal and structural repairs, fuel tank cleaning and inspection, rudder and propeller shaft removal, inspection, and reinstallation, cabin windshield repair, main deck hatch gasket replacement, and renewal of sea valves and hoses. The contractor will also be responsible for providing necessary labor, materials, equipment, fire protection, compressed air, and temporary lighting. Government-furnished equipment will be provided for items such as zinc replacements, shaft zincs, rudder zincs, and shaft seals.
