Elevator Maintenance Services

The University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive, performance-based contract to provide full-service maintenance, repairs, replacements, emergency response, and inspections for all specified elevators on campus. This all-inclusive service contract requires vendors to propose a detailed service plan and pricing structure covering all labor, materials, and resources necessary for maintaining the elevators in optimal operating condition. The scope of work includes preventative maintenance, testing, lubrication, cleaning, adjustments, ensuring emergency communication equipment functionality, and performing all minor and major repairs. The contract will have an initial term of two years, with the option for three additional one-year renewals, beginning on July 1, 2026, or the date of final contract execution. Vendors must be licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors as a SP-EL (Special Elevator) type contractor and demonstrate significant experience in elevator maintenance, particularly in higher education or multi-building campus environments.
