Large Travel Trailer for U.S. Geological Survey

The U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is soliciting quotes for a large travel trailer. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 and FAR 13.5. The requirement specifies a "Brand Name or Equal" Coleman Lantern 32BHS, with detailed salient characteristics. Key features include a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, and microwave; a large slide-out; private front bedroom and rear bunkhouse with solid doors; a self-contained full bathroom accessible only from the common living area; and a second fully-enclosed bathroom in the rear. The trailer must have an exterior length between 29 and 32 feet, a width of 8 feet, and a height of 10-12 feet (excluding the A/C unit). It must also include safety features like GFI receptacles, CO detector, smoke detector, propane gas leak detector, and a fire extinguisher. Water tank capacities are specified as minimum 50 gallons for fresh water, 60 gallons for grey water, and 60 gallons for black water. The plumbing system must be equipped for winterization. The unit must be new, and delivery is required by August 3, 2026, to Denver, Colorado. If the unit is further than 300 miles from Jamestown, ND 58401, delivery is required.
