MPA 515 OE Safety Devices, Personal, Traffic, and Work Zone Equipment

The State of Rhode Island, through its Division of Purchases, is establishing multi-year agreements with qualified vendors to provide a wide range of safety equipment and supplies. This includes, but is not limited to, truck mounted attenuators, arrow boards, water barriers, traffic barrels, traffic cones, sign stands, safety vests, fall protection equipment, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, respirators, message boards, and more. All products must meet MUTCD specifications, and safety apparel must comply with ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 standards for Class 3 risk exposure. Personal protective equipment must adhere to ANSI standards and all applicable federal safety requirements. The State anticipates multiple awards for a two-year period with two one-year renewal options. Political subdivisions may also participate in these agreements. Vendors are expected to provide percentage discounts from catalog list prices for the manufacturers they represent. Proposals will be reviewed on a "Pass/Fail" basis.
