The City of Bozeman is soliciting bids for the MSU Sewer Interceptor Replacement - Phase One project. This project involves replacing approximately 2,330 feet of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer main along the Kagy Boulevard and South Tracy Avenue corridor. Additionally, it includes replacing approximately 2,210 feet of the MSU Sewer Interceptor with new 24-inch, 21-inch, and 12-inch diameter pipelines from South Wilson Avenue and Mason Street to south of the Kagy Boulevard and South 3rd Avenue intersection. Work Schedule 2 involves replacing and installing approximately 3,615 feet of the MSU Sewer Interceptor with 24-inch, 21-inch, and 18-inch diameter pipe between Babcock Street and South 7th Avenue to South 4th Avenue and College Street. This schedule also includes replacing approximately 340 feet of an 8-inch water main crossing Cooper Park. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN by 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026. A non-refundable fee of $22.00 is required to download project bid documents, and an additional $42.00 fee is charged for electronic bid submittal. An optional pre-bid conference will be held on Friday, May 29th, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. at the City Shop Complex, 814 N. Bozeman Avenue. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry prior to contract execution. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required from the successful bidder.
