Description

The Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks (KDWP) is seeking bids to establish a Qualified Vendor Pool for the supply and delivery of bulk alfalfa pellets. This is an open-ended contract where orders will be placed as needed through the contract period, with estimated quantities of up to 13 tons of alfalfa pellets delivered annually in approximately 3-ton increments. The specifications for the bulk alfalfa pellets require a minimum of 17% crude protein, a minimum of 2.0% crude fat, and a maximum of 27% crude fiber. All material is subject to inspection and acceptance by KDWP upon delivery. Delivery is required to the Farlington Fish Hatchery at 101 Hatchery Road, Farlington, KS 66734, with a 24-hour notice required for delivery. Delivery fees must be itemized and included in the price per unit. The contract term is from the date of award through June 30, 2031. This is a Qualified Vendor List contract, meaning agencies will obtain quotes from all awarded vendors and select the vendor with the lowest overall price that meets specifications for each order.
