Window Shades and Installation Services at VA Medical Center

This is a presolicitation notice for commercial grade window shades and installation services at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, located at 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. The requirement includes operable and stationary shades with light filtering properties, project management, professional installation, and associated waste removal. The goal is to resolve issues with glare and temperature fluctuations on the first and second floors in the South-West section of Building 5. The contractor will be responsible for checking in with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) prior to commencing work and checking out upon completion. The contractor must wear a uniform identifying the company and maintain a clean job site, removing all waste and debris daily in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays, with installation typically occurring over three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
