Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, is soliciting bids for the rental of a man lift to perform Hydraulic Steel Structure (HSS) inspections of the Garrison Dam spillway Tainter gates. The rental period is for one 28-day period, expected to occur in June or July 2026, with the contract performance period extending from the date of award through August 30, 2026. The man lift must have a minimum reach of eighty feet and be capable of safely accessing the downstream face of the Tainter gates from the spillway slab. The contractor will be responsible for placing and removing the man lift from the spillway, and all operations must comply with manufacturer specifications and ANSI A92.2 standards. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.
