Description

The State of Connecticut's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to select one or more qualified Service Providers to administer the Connecticut Weatherization Assistance Program (CTWAP) for small multi-unit (2-4 units) and multifamily (5+ units) housing. These programs aim to increase energy efficiency, reduce energy expenditures, and improve the health and safety of low-income residents. Selected Service Providers will be responsible for a range of activities including outreach, case management, energy audits, weatherization services, data reporting, and coordination with other relevant programs. The contract is anticipated to have an initial term of three years, contingent upon performance evaluations and funding availability. The services will be funded by the U.S. Department of Energy through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) grant.
