Tyler County Slide Repair Project

This solicitation is for the construction of a slide repair project located on Highway 4H Camp, Site 1 in Tyler County, West Virginia. Bids will be received electronically through Bid Express Bidding Service (www.bidx.com) and by sealed proposals until May 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Proposals will be accepted from prequalified and West Virginia licensed contractors. For Federal-Aid Projects, a contractor's license is not required at the time of bid but will be required before work begins. Registration with the Department of Administration, Division of Purchasing is also required. All contractors submitting bids must also submit a Proposal Guaranty Bond for $500.00 or 5% of the total bid, whichever is greater. The West Virginia Department of Transportation Division of Highways reserves the right to postpone the bid opening date, with any changes available on www.bidx.com. The agency also ensures that minority business enterprises will have a full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against.
