General Real Estate Brokerage Services

Collin County, TX is seeking proposals from qualified real estate brokerage firms to provide comprehensive real estate brokerage services for the sale and acquisition of real property. The selected firm will assist the County in marketing, selling, and acquiring properties in accordance with all applicable Texas laws and regulations. The County's objective is to ensure that all transactions are conducted efficiently, transparently, competitively, and in the best interest of the County. The scope of work includes marketing and sales of properties, including developing and implementing marketing strategies, preparing and distributing marketing materials, listing properties on the MLS and appropriate platforms, conducting property showings, and providing recommendations supported by market data. The firm will also be responsible for the acquisition of properties, including identifying and evaluating potential properties, conducting market analysis and providing Broker Price Opinions (BPOs), assisting in negotiations, and coordinating inspections and due diligence. Key properties identified for sale include 700A Wilmeth Rd., McKinney, TX 75069; 825 N. McDonald St., McKinney, TX 75069; and 1269 N. State Hwy. 78, Farmersville, TX 75442, as well as approximately 9 additional individual properties of 30 acres or less. The scope may also include other properties identified in the future for both sale and purchase. The selected firm must be licensed and in good standing with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) and have a minimum of five years of experience in real estate brokerage services, with a focus on public sector clients preferred.
