Painting Services and Minor Drywall Repair at the University of Missouri-Kansas City

The University of Missouri desires to contract with multiple qualified firms for painting services and minor drywall repairs on the UMKC campus. The primary need is for residential halls and apartments during summer breaks, with year-round "as-called-for" services for offices and classrooms. The contract will cover interior and exterior painting, including ceilings, walls, trim, doors, and door jambs. Minor drywall repair work will also be included. The University will supply the paint, but contractors are responsible for all labor, equipment, and materials for application and surface preparation. Spray painting will be permitted only with prior University approval. Contractors must provide qualified painters, a supervisor with at least three years of painting experience, and adhere to safety regulations and university policies. Background checks and drug testing for employees are required. The contract period will be two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods, with pricing remaining firm for the initial term.
