Description

The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center requires 10 safety relief valves, part number NI/30.1-1.50 DN40 ANGLED 80 PSI, NSN: 4820-01-657-1440. These valves are intended as replacements for Kunkle 191-1 valves on 270 WMEC F/O transfer pumps. The solicitation specifies a carbon steel body, angled DN40 x DN40 (1.5" x 1.5") ANSI 16.5 flanged connection, 150# rating, with a Type C head, and an 80 PSI pressure rating. Each valve must be individually packaged and marked according to ASTM-D-3951 and MIL-STD-129R, including linear (Code 39) and 2D (PDF417) bar codes if capable. Standard commercial packaging is unacceptable, and failure to meet packaging, packing, marking (PP&M), and bar-coding requirements will result in rejection and delayed payment. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis as a Firm Fixed Price contract. All responsible sources must be registered in SAM.gov and provide their DUNS and TIN with their offer. Quotations are due by May 21st, 2026, at 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time.
